The agent of Park Chu-Young has admitted that his player will consider a move away from Arsenal if he is unable to play first team football soon. Park has found first team opportunities difficult to come by at the Emirates.

Arsenal‘s signing of legendary Thierry Henry on loan from the New York Red Bulls for two months has seen the South Korean striker’s first team opportunities limited. In addition, Marouane Chamakh is also preferred to Park.

Now there appears to be some talk of a move away from the Emirates for the striker.

“If the current state continues, we will have to look at the transfer market in the summer,” Park’s agent admitted.

Sochaux’s highly rated creative midfielder, Marvin Martin, has been linked with a move away from the club today. The player admitted he is very interested in a switch to ambitious Ligue 1 giants PSG, the team he supported as a boy.

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has also been monitoring Marvin closely, but the Gunners have not made a bid for the player yet.

Martin said: “I’m open to any offers.

“I lived in Paris when I was little, I was a supporter of PSG”, added the attacking midfielder.

“But it was turned into ‘I want to go to PSG’ whereas this is not the case.

“Paris are a great team, like Marseille, Lyon and Lille, part of the great French teams. I remain open to all teams.”

Queens Park Rangers will seal a move for Nancy and Mali midfielder Samba Diakite on Monday, with the player joining on loan for the remainder of the season. Diakite will pen a six month loan deal, and is expected in London to agree terms today.

A statement on Nancy’s website read: “Samba Diakite is officially on loan to English club Queens Park Rangers until the end of the season. This loan will change automatically to a permanent transfer if the London club, currently 16th, stay clear of the relegation zone.”

Diakite will be the third player to join QPR since Mark Hughes‘ arrival, after Nedum Onuoha and Taye Taiwo.

Ryo Miyaichi set for Arsenal loan exit

Football Transfer Centre

Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger yesterday confirmed that Japanese winger Ryo Miyaichi will leave the club on loan until the end of the season. At this time, Ipswich Town and Bolton are the two clubs most interested in the player.

“I will have a chat with him tomorrow and I have a little plan,” said Wenger.

“Oxlade-Chamberlain plays on the flanks now too, so if I can find an opportunity for [Miyaichi] to play somewhere I will decide whether to do that tomorrow.”

There are high hopes at Arsenal that Miyaichi will eventually be an important member of the first team.
